RH4 Application
Region Health 4, governed by Ministry of Public Health, mainly focuses on primary and secondary care for regional villagers. RH4 contains 8 provinces including, Saraburi, Nonthaburi, Lop Buri, Nakhon Nayok, Sing Buri, Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, and Ang Thong. This application is under the development of Cariva and Thammasat University. It aims to help VHVs, and SHPH of Region Health 4 to gather and access health data more easily by providing a digital health community screening application called "RH4". This project is developed by a collaboration with Mr. Jatuwat Sa-ngiampak.

Overview
Business Goals
-
To help RH4 hospitals adopt digital health transition within its process and operations
-
To gather a large amount of data of RH4 people
-
To provide screening application
and smart card readers
Issues
-
Offline manual process :
VHVs always use a paper-based health screening form to gather data from elderly people in their area. They collect data by asking elderly to do particular tests depending on their conditions and a final calculated score will be noted on paper. -
Not centralised data: The information is not centralized enough due to a manual process. Some data might be scattered and it is difficult for SHPH to get and access the data.
Key Tasks
-
Collaboration with design team
-
Business requirement gathering, Stakeholder interview
-
Design system
-
Prototyping
Pain Points

The first issue is that VHVs always use a paper-based health screening form to gather data from the senior in their area. Also, they ask the older to do particular tests depending on their conditions and a final calculated score will be noted on paper. Then, the staff will transfer all data from the paper including questionnaire answer and score into their system again. This is some sort of repeated effort in their operations as you can see from the above flow. Consequently, this joint project will offer digitalised operations for TU and Region Health 4 by transforming most of process into the application. This may reduce duplicated tasks and improve the overall operation.
About Users
SHPHs : Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital

Sub-district Health Promoting Hospital (SHPH) : The Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals or Primary Care Units (PCU) is a very first checkpoint of health care services and the closest contact point to local population, especially in the rural area.
Village Health Volunteer : VHVs

Village Health Volunteer (VHV) : VHVs are a link between local people and authorised health personnel and drive public health work at community level.
Design System
In order to speed up the development as the first MVP, RH4 design system is structurally based on Material 3. However, some components are newly customised to necessarily match with mechanism of its application and our users.
Log in & Homepage

The log-in user journey starts with the splash screen after they click on the app icon on the mobile home screen. Then, they will be redirected to the log-in process. Initially, users are required a password which is generated by our system to access the application.
Dip chip & Personal Information

To begin the screening questionnaire, users have the option of either clicking on the "dipping chip" button or manually entering their information. Authenticating their identity through the use of a smart card reader, which is attached to their mobile device, enables users to effortlessly provide their personal information by simply inserting their citizen ID card into the reader. Upon dipping their card, users are presented with a summary page that retrieves their information from the card, allowing them to review and confirm their details before proceeding with the questionnaire.
Questionnaire & Confirmation

The screening questionnaire is a crucial aspect of the application, enabling seniors to participate in national health screenings by answering questions. There are two distinct levels of the questionnaire, a basic version and an advanced version. Should the user successfully complete the basic questionnaire, they will not be required to participate in the advanced questionnaire. Both the basic and advanced questionnaires share a similar structure and subject matter, though there may be some variations in terms of the specific questions asked.
Screening Results

Once users have completed doing either basic or advanced questionnaire, the results will be displayed to notify users a status of the test. However, if they cannot pass the basic test, they need to do another advanced test again. If all tests are done, the application will save all answers, records and results within user's account and RH4 SHPH's system.
